Abstract

Nowadays, the concern about employees development and training transfer problems in organizations has gained considerable importance and the realization of training transfer is a tough, challenging and sometimes disappointing effort. The literature of this field of study also confirms that in organizational context, it rarely happens that the learning from training experiences be led to an effective outcome. This issue and the solution of improving training transfer in organizations is the main focus point of current study. In this regard, researchers were seeking a practical tool for improving organizational training transfer by applying one of the multilevel and multidisciplinary models named “training transfer black box”. Serving this purpose, by applying fuzzy delphi method and 18 experts participation, researchers have presented a practical procedural guiding map for improving organizational training transfer. Results provide a set of requirements that HR and training practitioners should consider them in three different stages of “pre-training”, “during-training”, and “post-training”. These results, are formulated and presented in the form of a checklist containing 47 questions, which can guide practitioners to practically improve organizational training transfer step by step. At the end, besides discussion on the findings, some future research directions are also presented.
